MOT – Coventry

As motorists, we often complain about the need to get an MOT done on our vehicles, but in reality, we should all appreciate that this really is a worthwhile obligation.

It means that every vehicle on the road should be in a safe, roadworthy condition and not pollute the environment around us with harmful emissions. The VASS Specialists is a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) approved MOT testing station capable of carrying out MOT tests at our Coventry workshop.

Naturally, we are regulated, but we are also extremely customer-focused, and we aim to offer sound advice as well as a high standard of service quality. We will be pleased to carry out a pre-MOT inspection and undertake any preparation work should your vehicle show any signs that it might fail the test. And in cases where pre-inspections are not requested, we are able to provide a full range of competitively priced post-test repair services to ensure your vehicle passes its MOT re-test and gets you legally back on the road.

Top guys at Vass, been fixing up my Seat Ibiza for a while now. Great team do what they say, very knowledgeable. Gaz and his infinite wisdom always gives you options of what you want to do with the car, if you want you can give it the TLC or give it the work it needs as a run about which I think is great and will suit many peoples circumstances and pockets. Contrast from the Listers Seat dealership who really wanted me to pay £100 an hour labour cost to see if they could fix the interior light sensor. Vass will always do right by you and ensure your car is running and safe and back in your hands with the catchphrase "I don't mean this nastily but I hope I don't see you for a while!" which is always great to hear from a mechanic! Very reasonably priced and my car will be back in for a service and MOT next year.

Took my car and my mum's car to Vass for a service and MOT. The guys were really busy but were really friendly and welcoming, we didn't feel rushed at all. When we went to collect our cars, Phil took his time to go through everything with us, not pressurising us to have unnecessary work done like some garages I've been to in the past. I would highly recommend Vass!

These guys are great! If you are looking to have your VW, Audi, Skoda or Seat serviced look no further. Phill, Gaz, Joe and their team will look after you. Why pay main dealer prices when these guys are far better, and cheaper? They have looked after all my VW cars over the years and I have never ever had a bad experience here. Friendly and reliable, just a great service team. They also run Walsgrave Garage on the same site so they now work on non-VW cars there. They also now do MOT's so they can now service your car and MOT it on the same day and they have courtesy cars on offer to make your life a bit easier when you are dropping your own car off. Independent businesses as good as this one need supporting - it is so much better here than a main dealer. Trustworthy guys, always get the job done.
